![]() The big question for me this week is whether or not Claire is actually Cole and Victoria’s daughter Eve. Find out why I think Lily’s exit will fire up the developing love triangle here. The fire was presumably the means of writing Lily off of the canvas for Christel Khalil’s maternity leave. Daniel offered to accompany her but she knew he had his launch coming up and told him to stay put. She felt the need to be near her daughter and Devon arranged the jet. You can’t “reform” all your edgiest characters and expect to have a dramatic soap.Īfter telling Nate that she and Devon were going to give him another shot at Chancellor-Winters, Lily made a quick exit from Genoa City after getting a call that there was a wildfire near Mattie’s schoool. While I loved the scenes with her and Michael, a reformed and evolved Phyllis is boring to me and I’d love to see something happen that pivots her back to scheming and wreaking havoc. There’s no real shot for her and Danny and so it feels like a dead end. That said, it’s not working to have Phyllis sulking and pining in the background of this story. Might this be an opportunity for Victor to slot Adam back in there?Īs I watch Danny and Christine fall for each other again, I can’t help but get nostalgic feels. Nikki’s drinking again and probably not in any shape to run Newman Media. It will be interesting to see how things unfold at Newman Enterprises as well. I’m not a fan of the way the triangle was written or the low-key podperson Adam, but here’s hoping there’s something more dynamic in store for this duo. This isn’t especially surprising given that they hit the sheets previously, but it could be tricky to navigate given her recent history with Nick and the way Victor feels about her. ![]() While we didn’t have any scenes with Adam and Sally this week, the preview revealed that they’re going to mull over the idea of hitting the reset button. Given Tucker’s yen to work with Nate, I wonder if Chancellor-Winters will use that to their advantage moving forward. The energy is that of a story escalating toward a showdown or climax of some sort, which makes it more interesting as well. While it’s all beyond tiresome by now, there are elements to the story that caught my attention such as Jill not only suggesting that she and Mamie could work together, but her uniting with the Abbotts as well. How he would use a failing company to take down a thriving corporation from the “inside” is beyond me, but they all seem convinced that it’s possible. It was at the point where there seemingly was no point and I didn’t care enough - let alone feel intrigued enough - to even try and figure out what McCall might be up to, when the Abbotts figured out that he was going to try and use Glissade to come for Jabot. I was relieved when an actual plot emerged after weeks of murky and endless talk about the supposed threat posed by Tucker to Jabot and Chancellor-Winters. ![]() Young & Restless' Latest Crisis Could Light a Fire Under a Developing Love Triangle Tucker Up
